“My internship with Holborn was a true learning experience. I had the opportunity to work with wealth and asset managers who are passionate about their craft. With only a month in the office, I developed a strong understanding of the financial world. My role consisted of a week by week breakdown of research into fundamentals that the Michele Carby Practice offers for their clients. I also had the opportunity to work in an office environment as well as joining company conferences and meetings. This gave me a great understanding of professionalism and working in an office environment is like. These skills and knowledge I gained will be invaluable for me and anyone looking for future employment opportunities in the industry”

“My internship at the Michele Carby Practice gave me a strong foundation in marketing and campaign management that I still draw on today. Working with such a niche target audience helped me develop a deeper understanding of audience targeting, a skill that directly applies to my current role. I also gained hands-on experience working with brand guides when creating content, which strengthened my ability to deliver consistent, professional messaging. One of the highlights of my internship was being trusted to run my own campaign using Mailchimp and Zapier integrations. Managing the automation and seeing real results gave me both confidence and practical experience. “During the summer of 2024 I had the opportunity to intern with The Michele Carby Practice (MCP) specializing as a Financial Analyst for the Asset Management Desk. Michele Carby and Payal Trehan were two of the greatest mentors I could ask for during the start of my career in the financial services industry. The ability to learn first-hand from the Managing Partner and Senior Investment Strategist was an experience like no other as the information, advice, and guidance I received helped shape my development and understanding of wealth and asset management. The team at MCP welcomed me with open arms from day one making sure all my questions were answered and supported my continued growth over the nine-week internship program. During my time at MCP I learned everything from the basics of Wealth and Asset Management to the complexities of financial instruments and technical analysis.
